Since its inception and debut LP, Thunder and Rain, AmpleAngst has produced a rich mix of Americana. Throughout its existence, the band has featured outstanding vocalists such as Olivia Chernyshev-Ward, Andrea Adams, along with guitarist Kyle Cohen, bassist Cyrus Quaranta, violinist Joe Henderson, double bassist Aaron Kinman, and guitarist/songwriter, Mike Bernos. Currently, the band showcases violinist/vocalist Hannah Barrow, along with Mr. Bernos, and Mr. Kinman. Featuring Hannah's clear, sweet, weightless voice along with her violin mastery, the band plays a mix of pop, folk, country, roots, gypsy jazz and standards. Its catalogue has expanded to include other notable and important musicians and singers from around the country, but more importantly, a collaboration with Grammy-nominated arranger and cellist, Dave Eggar, who also plays on many of the songs' orchestral arrangements.

AmpleAngst derives its name from the Danish philosopher, Søren Kierkegaard who believed if you didn't have a little anxiety, your were not paying attention.
