Since its inception and debut LP, Thunder and Rain, Ample Angst has produced a rich mix of Americana, With vocalist Olivia Chernyshev, violinist Hannah Barrow, solo guitarist Kyle Cohen, double bassist Aaron Kinman, and guitarist and songwriter, Mike Bernos, the band plays a mix of pop, folk, country, roots, gypsy jazz and standards. Its catalogue has expanded to include other notable and important musicians and singers from around the country, but more importantly, a collaboration with Grammy-nominated arranger and cellist, Dave Eggar, who also plays on some of the songs' orchestral arrangements.

AmpleAngst derives its name from the Danish philosopher, Søren Kierkegaard who believed if you didn't have a little anxiety, your were not paying attention.
